Toon Boom 1 - Harmony

Update your traditional 2D animation skills with the industry standard in digital animation software, Toon Boom's Harmony 9!

Toon Boom is a complete, paperless, animation system that can take any 2D project from storyboard all the way through to final frames. This class will provide a hands-on overview of how each step in the animation pipeline uses the software. Topics include an overview of its features, interface, storyboarding, character design, layout, animation, clean-up, effects, integration w/ backgrounds, color models, ink & paint and compositing.

Optional features that will also be explored are Harmony 9’s asset library, lip-syncing, designing a multi-plane scene, inverse kinematics, and cut-out animation.

Prerequisite: None, but basic knowledge of the computer is highly recommended.
