Story Development 101

Story Development 101a

NOTE: This class is FULL and registration is now CLOSED.

There has never been a better time for you to try and get a story of your own creation produced. The business is seeking a wider range of content than ever before, and if you know how to take your idea and develop it into a well structured Intellectual Property, the possibilities are endless. This class shows you how.

Using class exercises, group discussion, and with a focus on individual one-on-one instruction, students in Story Development will be introduced to the real world fundamental processes, techniques, terminology and methods by which ideas become complete stories, and the work one must do to realize those stories in the media of your choice: video games, television, movies, graphic novels or the traditional literary forms.

Story development is a very personal type of work, and the class is designed to be a safe harbor for all involved. All stories are welcome, and bold originality will be encouraged. No cookie cutters here. We want to help you tell the story only you can tell.
