SketchUp Pro 301
SketchUp Pro 301 will explore ways to take a SketchUp Model and use Layout, Renderers and Plugins to produce presentation drawings and construction documents. The class will be project based, and will produce a small swing set, a location study, and a period interior, and will look at the major presentation tools and resources available to Sketchup users.
Plugins will be used to extend the modeling possibilities of Sketchup and to produce camera studies and storyboards, Renderers and post processing will be used to create set illustrations, and Layout will be employed to create plans, sections, elevations and construction details, all with the intention of producing all the documentation needed to present and build a set.
Prerequisite: Knowledge of SketchUp Pro and the ability to create a model with the program will be necessary to take this class. Students are welcome to bring in their own models and base the class on existing work.
